The climate declaration shows the emissions of greenhouse gases, expressed as CO2-equivalents. It is based on
verified results from a lifecycle assessment (LCA), in accordance with ISO 14025.

ergonomic seating. RH
Chairs was established 1977 in Bodafors, in the
Småland region of Sweden, our plant is now located
in Nässjö. Today we are established in Norway,
Denmark, Finland, United Kingdom, France and the
Netherlands, in addition to Sweden. RH
manufacturing plant in Nässjö is certified in
accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. RH
Charis is a part of Scandinavian Business Seating.
Climate declaration
The study includes production of materials and
parts, assembly, transport to retail and use phase.
Transportation between the processes and
packaging production are included as well. The
studied system also includes waste from the
different life cycle phases.
The results are presented for the following modules:
the upstream module includes production of raw
materials, main parts and components, the core
module includes all production and assembly

processes and the downstream module includes
transport to the customer. No relevant
environmental impact occurs during the use of the
product. Recycling of the product is not included.
The result is presented for one chair including
production and use during 15 years.
