Maingate IP Connect communicates wirelessly
with units via GPRS or 3G. Maingate IP Connect
provides a cost efficient and secure solution for
transparent communication between units and
central applications.
Each SIM card that is placed in a unit
is provided a permanent private IP
address. A VPN-tunnel between Maingate
and customer guarantees that the
IP address is protected from the Internet
and encrypted communication provides
additional security. Using Maingate IP
Connect means that the risks and the
extra processes that come with the use
of a normal GSM/GPRS subscription are
eliminated.
